The Full Court Reporting Course is a 25-class program.
This course is designed for the entry-level student interested
in a court reporting career. Classes are approximately three
hours in length and limited to eight students per class.
Classes will consist of a period to introduce new legal,
medical, or general business vocabulary terms, a vocabulary
quiz, demonstration of, discussion of and practice of a
reporting and/or transcribing technique, review of homework,
dictating and transcribing time.
Classes also include information the student will need about
our court system, legal practice, legal citations and much,
much more.
The full program tuition is $5,500.00. TCRA will train students
on the equipment of their choice, however, we do recommend
voice-recognition software along with Computer Aided
Transcription Software. The cost of tuition does not include
your reporting equipment. The equipment costs are varied
based on the student's choice of equipment but average
approximately $1,295.00.
