If you are here, you obviously have an interest in becoming a Court
Reporter.    

Do you have the time to devote two-to-four years of training to become a
court reporter?

Do you have $20,000 to $25,000 to spend on that training?

If you answered 'NO' to both of the above questions, The Court Reporting
Academy is for you!!!

Court Reporters wishing to work in the State of Missouri must pass an
intensive examination administered by The Missouri Board of Court
Reporters Examiners.  

The Court Reporting Academy, LLC (TCRA) will train and prepare you for
that examination within  25 classes, at the rate of one three-hour class per
week.

Classes are geared towards the working adult and are held on weeknights
and/or weekends.  Classes are small to ensure a higher student-pass
ratio.  There will be no more than three students per class.

You will be trained in the voicewriting form of court reporting.  Following
certification, you may wish to become a CART (computer access realtime
translation) provider, a broadcast captioner, a freelance reporter, or an
official reporter.
